The horse’s voice is at the center of everything we do at ThisNThat Herbals. It is literally why we exist.
Some years ago, we discovered if we stepped back, let the horse have their voice and let them tell us what they needed to be their most healthy, vibrant selves…we’d stop playing endless rounds of “whack-a-mole,” vet bills would diminish, and we’d sleep better knowing what we were feeding them what what they actually needed for their well-being.
As we continued down this path, we discovered that what our horses needed from us was what other horses needed from their people, too. Thus, ThisNThat Herbals was born.

Meet Our Chief Blender
Meet Meredith Crawford, founder and Chief Blender at ThisNThat Herbals. A lifelong equestrian and nature enthusiast, the horses unlocked the world of healing with plants in 1997 through flower essences and again with medicinal herbalism in 2020. Meredith credits the horses, her Swiss family, and Peruvian in-laws as her main influences in working with plants. She is a student in the clinical herbalist program at Heart of Herbs School and is currently accepting new (human) clients in a clinical herbalist setting.
Meredith is also a credentialed equine bodyworker and animal communicator with extensive experience helping horses find vibrant, productive lives. You can follow the exploits with her horse, Relevate at The Lab Horse.
